Creating your vendor account, setting up your storefront, and listing your products on Footje is free. You do not pay a marketplace commission until you successfully sell a product.

We can integrate and maintain your products range for you. All you need to do is activate your Stripe account to have payments to you processed via Stripe.

For each completed sale, Footje.com charges a flat 10% marketplace commission.

This commission supports the Footje platform, marketplace infrastructure, payment integration, vendor tools, security, and international marketing designed to help bring buyers to your products.

Secure & Automated Payments Through Stripe Express

Footje uses Stripe to facilitate secure payment processing and vendor payouts.

Stripe provides the payment infrastructure used to process transactions and facilitate payouts to eligible vendors in supported countries and regions.

Automated Payment Processing

Secure Payment Processing: Payments are processed through Stripe’s payment infrastructure.
Automated Fee Deduction: Applicable Footje marketplace and Stripe payment-processing fees are deducted from the transaction before the remaining funds are paid out to the seller.
Stripe Express: Eligible vendors can connect a supported Stripe account through the Footje marketplace.
International Payouts: Depending on Stripe availability, your country, currency, business structure, and account eligibility, funds may be paid out to a supported bank account or other supported payout method.
Multiple Currencies: International transactions may involve currency conversion and additional costs depending on the currencies and payment methods involved.

Stripe Processing Fee

The standard Stripe transaction-processing fee specified by Footje for marketplace transactions is:

3.15% + $0.25 USD per transaction

The seller is responsible for applicable Stripe processing fees in addition to the 10% Footje marketplace commission.

Stripe availability, supported countries, payout methods, currencies, and applicable fees may vary by location and account type.

You can manage your products and orders through your Footje vendor dashboard.

4. Manage International Fulfillment

Sellers are responsible for fulfilling customer orders and arranging shipment to the destination specified by the customer.

You can provide appropriate shipping options and use international logistics providers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, postal services, freight forwarders, or other suitable carriers.

Tracking information can be added to orders so customers can follow their shipments.

5. Expand Your Online Visibility

Your Footje storefront and product listings create additional online exposure for your brand and products.

Well-structured product information can help search engines and other discovery technologies understand and index your catalog.

Footje may also provide opportunities for internal linking, product discovery, category exposure, and other marketplace-based visibility.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Register as a Vendor

Click Sign Up, select “I am a vendor”, and complete your basic store and business information.

After registration, you can access your vendor dashboard and begin setting up your storefront.

Step 2: Connect Your Stripe Account

From your vendor dashboard, go to the payment settings and select Connect with Stripe.

Follow Stripe’s secure onboarding process and provide the information required to verify your business and payout account.

Stripe may require additional information depending on your country, business type, products, and regulatory requirements.

Step 3: List Your Products

Upload your products, add product descriptions and images, set your pricing, select the appropriate categories, and configure your shipping information.

If your specific niche or category is not yet available, you can select “Uncategorized.” Our team can review and move products into an appropriate category where applicable.

Step 4: Receive Orders & Manage Fulfillment

Once your products are live, customers can purchase through the Footje marketplace.

Manage your orders through your dashboard, fulfill shipments within your stated processing time, provide tracking information, and monitor your sales and payouts.

Marketplace Commission & Payment Fees

Footje.com charges a:

10% marketplace commission on each completed sale.

Stripe Payment Processing

Stripe processing is charged at:

3.15% + $0.25 USD per transaction

The seller is responsible for the applicable Footje marketplace commission and Stripe processing fees.

Additional payment, currency-conversion, international, refund, chargeback, or other applicable fees may apply depending on the transaction and payment setup.

Shipping & Fulfillment

The seller is responsible for fulfilling and shipping orders directly to the customer.

Sellers may determine appropriate:

Shipping methods
Shipping carriers
Processing times
Shipping rates
Delivery services
International fulfillment arrangements

Shipping charges paid separately by the customer are intended to cover the seller’s shipping and fulfillment costs and are not subject to Footje.com’s 10% marketplace commission, provided that they are separately identified as shipping charges and are not incorporated into the product price.

The seller is responsible for:

Properly packaging products
Shipping orders within the stated processing time
Providing accurate tracking information where available
Ensuring that products can legally be shipped to the destination country
Handling applicable shipping, customs, import, and delivery requirements

Taxes, VAT, Customs & Import Duties

Because Footje is an international marketplace, tax and customs obligations can vary significantly depending on the seller’s location, buyer’s location, product type, transaction structure, and shipping destination.

Sellers are responsible for determining and complying with the tax, VAT/GST, customs, import/export, and other governmental requirements that apply to their business and transactions.

This may include, where applicable:

Sales tax
VAT
GST
Import duties
Customs charges
Export requirements
Product-specific taxes
Registration or reporting obligations

Footje.com does not automatically assume the seller’s tax, customs, or import/export obligations unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate agreement or applicable marketplace policy.

Sellers should obtain appropriate professional tax, customs, and legal advice for the countries in which they operate and sell.

Product Compliance & International Selling Requirements

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their products comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the markets where they sell.

Depending on the product and destination, this may include requirements relating to:

Product safety
Certifications
Technical standards
Product labeling
Packaging
Consumer protection
Environmental requirements
Electrical and electronic products
Batteries and hazardous materials
Import/export regulations
Country-specific product requirements

Sellers should only list products that they are legally permitted to sell and ship to the relevant destination.
